CCCC Membership
At Camden Crossroads, we ask that those who desire to commit themselves to the life, worship, and ministry of our church do so through the vehicle of church membership. We believe that whole-heartedly and without reservation committing oneself to the local church is crucial and in full accord with the New Testament’s teaching on the nature of the church.
By becoming a member of this local body, the pastor, elders, and members can better serve and minister to you and your family. It is our desire to see our members continue to grow and mature in grace as they are taught and served by the ministry teams at Camden Crossroads. Those who seek to officially join our body are not just given a vote, they are given a charge to actively serve and commit themselves to the life of the body. This can be seen in five areas of commitment:
- Following and supporting the leadership of the pastor and elders
- Engaging in weekly corporate worship
- Serving actively in a ministry
- Participating in a Community Group
- Tithing and giving generously to the financial needs of Camden Crossroads
The first step in becoming a member of Camden Crossroads is to complete our C4 101 Class. The pastor or one of our elders leads this class on a quarterly basis. If you wish to pursue membership after attending this class, you will fill out a Member Information Sheet, turn it in to the church office, and then schedule an opportunity for you to meet with a pastor or elder. You will be asked to share your testimony of faith in Christ, talk about the gospel, and then be given the opportunity to have your questions about the church answered. If at that point we are in one accord, you will be presented to the church body and voted into membership by the congregation.
Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ,
The Pastor and Elders of Camden Crossroads Community Church
