We’ve all heard the story. “Jonah, arise, go to Nineveh.” So why didn’t Jonah go? What was it about this mission that had the prophet run headlong into rebellion? Was this Jonah’s purpose? What would we do if God gave us a clear mission? Would we respond like Jonah?
Put aside what you think you may know about Jonah. This tiny little book has a big message and it’s more than simple rebellion. Are there lessons than can be applied for us today? Is there a parallel in the world today? We’ll look into these questions in our upcoming winter sermon series into the life and mission of the prophet Jonah. It will be an eye opener!
